Children in our Public Schools who are homeless or living in transitional housing.

In today's Daily News it said there are 87,000 children in our public schools who are homeless or living in transitional housing. Obviously it is not their fault. Lets unite and do something about this. Write your local state senators and assembly members and put an end to 421A and use those taxes to build new homes for our homeless and shelter people. We need new sensible public housing. Safe havens are not the answer. An aggressive new public housing is. Join us saturday October 10th at 1PM in Room C-443 at LaGuardia Community College. Get involved. Those of us who are Catholic heed the words of Pope Francis and help our poor. This is a real way to do it. We need special housing for our homeless vets, for the mental ill, and for abused women and children. However, over 65% simply need a home.
